Blogging? On a Fence Builders Website!

Ok so im going to be totally honest here. I run a small fence company, it's just me and my hubby. We opened in September 2024 and are looking to serve all of Northwest Arkansas as well as parts of Oklahomaand Missouri. Oh yeah, that total honesty thing, if the moneys right we’d be willing to travel anywhere to install, stain or repair a fence. We both really like to travel.

Don’t be alarmed though, he’s been building and repairing fences off and on his whole life and hes been patient enough to teach me, brave guy because most days I'm basically a walking hazard. He grew up in South AR working with his Papaw, Kenneth Sharp which is where we got our name One Sharp Fence.

Anyway, back to what brought me here. I’m in my 40's and I've never been exactly computer friendly but I’ve always loved to write. We've gotten some business by advertising on Facebook, and this app called Nextdoor (we've worked with amazing clients that we connected with from both places).

We’ve managed to stay fairly busy but not quite busy enough to get all the bills paid so I got the bright idea to, yep you guessed it, build a website. Yall i’m better at building fences.

It took close to 3 weeks to get it figured out enough to go live with it, when you're checking it over keep in mind that I had no idea what I was doing.

You'll never guess what I found on this website… a blogging button. I wasn’t sure what blogging was which is crazy because i really like to write (that's my age showing there). I went ahead and googled, what is blogging?

This. This is blogging. I get to write and build fences. I'll probably write about building fences but not tonight yall. I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m Summer, your (mostly) fence building blogger.
